| Our goal is to increase awareness about childhood home injuries and deaths and teaching parents how they can prevent such a tragedy from happening to them. We convey to families about what they need to do to childproof their homes in order to prevent injuries like falls, burns, strangulation, poisoning, etc. Our current project is to create at least 1,500 safety kits that would contain childproofing devices to distribute to families who undergo home safety education through our partners at the Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Miami. The kits would be free of charge to those who went through the program.
