The Pantry of Broward provides food aid and services to seniors in need (on a fixed income of approx $800 or less) and grandparents who are taking care of their grandchildren. The Pantry will review the senior’s continuum of care and see where assistance is needed and help directly or through referrals. These services may include eyeglasses, hearing aids, legal assistance, applications for federal and State programs, etc

Food Drives! Please help arrange a food drive in your neighborhood, place of worship, school, etc. The Pantry of Broward will distribute this food to the seniors in great need. Our website has a “How To” guide to organizing a food drive.
Volunteers: The Pantry of Broward is a volunteer run agency. We are looking for people who care who have a few hours each month or week where they can help in a variety of functions from stocking shelves to packing food boxes. We also seek volunteer drivers to help deliver food in their neighborhoods to seniors who cannot get out of their homes.
Marketing and Public Relations: we are continually looking for professionals to help us get even more creative in reaching out to the public. If you work in marketing, public relations and/or graphic design and are willing to volunteer some time, please contact us.
We are looking for doctors, optometrists, hearing specialists, etc who would be willing to provide one or two appointments for seniors without charge each week or month.
