| Now celebrating our 37th year, the SPCA Wildlife Care Center continues to serve the growing needs of the South Florida Tri-County community. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife that has been harmed or displaced; to treat and place certain needy domestic, exotic and farm animals; and to educate the public toward coexistence with all animals. This past year we admitted nearly 14,000 animals and educated over 17,000 school children and adults in South Florida. Our facility includes an operating room, ICU, rehabilitation area, state-of-the-art nursery and dozens of habitats. With two full time ambulances, 70 employees and nearly 800 volunteers, the SPCA Wildlife Care Center is the largest facility of its kind in Florida and is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. It is only through community partnerships that we will be able to continue our mission; to find that balance wherein all species successfully co-exist.
