SOS Children’s Villages–Florida’s mission is to provide homes, nurturing parents, siblings, a supportive neighborhood and the special resources necessary for children in foster care, thereby empowering them to become contributing members of society.

SOS Children’s Villages - Florida (SOS) is a very special children’s neighborhood right here in our community. We provide stable homes and a caring environment to foster children who were abused, abandoned or severely neglected and have no imminent hope of adoption or reunification with their birth family. The children thrive in traditional single-family homes, with nurturing staff who are dedicated to raising the boys and girls to become contributing members of society.

Our Village includes eleven homes, counseling and therapeutic offices and a community center on an eight-acre cul-de-sac in Coconut Creek, on the border of Broward and Palm Beach Counties. We are a family in the traditional sense, where SOS staff provide care and support and where meeting the children’s needs is our number one priority. We are also committed to bringing siblings separated in the foster care system back together here at the village so they may grow up together, live in the same community together, play together and go to school together. Here, the children know that each other are safe.
