| The Ronald McDonald House Charities® of South Florida and it’s core program, the Ronald McDonald House, provides a “home-away-from home“ for families and their children that are receiving medical treatment at any Miami-Dade and Broward County pediatric hospitals, regardless of their ability to pay. Currently there are two Ronald McDonald Houses in South Florida. The House in Miami is located on the grounds of Jackson Memorial Medical Center and the second House is located in Broward County next to Broward General Medical Center. Each House provides a comfortable and living environment to approximately 600-700 families each year.
