We are a 501-(c) (3) not-for-profit organization that provides a full spectrum of services to Developmentally Disabled Adults. Our main campus is located in Northeastern Miami, where we have been providing services to Developmentally Disabled adults since our inception in 1962. For over 44 years, MACtown, Inc. has been committed to the provision of quality services to Developmentally Disabled adults in South Florida. Our goal is to improve the lives of the people we serve by allowing them to reach their full potential. MACtown has grown over the years providing disabled adults with over 20 different services. Some of our services include:

Residential Services
Nursing
Pre-Vocational Training
Speech Therapy
Recreation
Behavior Analysis
Transportation
Supported Living
NRSS
Occupational Therapy
Pharmacy Services
Sheltered Workshop
Vocational Placement
Supported Employment
Physical Therapy
Personal Attendant
Dietary Services
Adult Day Training Program

Residential Habilitation is most commonly known as life in a "Group Home". Group Homes offer residential services to a smaller group of residents in the friendly, family style setting of a home. MACtown has 4 Group Homes: The Panther, The Marlin, The Dolphin and The Gator Group Home.

We believe that an individual's basic rights should be protected and are committed to encouraging people to exercise their rights. We further believe that each individual is entitled to be treated with respect and dignity. It is our responsibility to carry this message daily by the way we treat each other, consumers of services and their family members.

At this time, we are facing financial difficulties. It saddens me to see how the government has cut funds for not-for-profit organizations. It makes it hard for us to make MACtown all that we want it to be. We are in need of so many things. We will only be able to achieve our goals with your help, through organizations such as yours.
