| To provide assistance to those in need; specifically to children, the fatherless, widows, single parents and as directed biblically. Assistance may be provided in various forms such as financial, furniture, appliances, utilities, medical, clothing, food, education, referral, counseling, and spiritual needs. It is appropriate to take special interest regarding the worldly concerns of others such as the poor, the fatherless, single parent, the widow, or the afflicted. They must be sought out in order for them to be helped and comforted. Most times they are too humble and modest to publicize their situation although they do, indeed, need others to provide generous care towards their welfare in order to provide assistance to them.
