| MISSION: To prevent and treat health and behavioral health disorders in children, adolescents, and their families regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, disability or social-economic status. The Children's Psychiatric Center (CPC) has been providing service to the families of South Florida since 1948. The CPC's mission statement extends beyond the direct provision of services. It includes an advocacy role for children, adolescents, and their families through community education activities, interfacing with other advocates and funders of children's programs, and linking resources with other organizations, such as, The Miami-Dade County Public School System. The All-Aboard provide early literacy intervention to children and families with programs such as the All-Aboard Tutoring/Mentoring Program, the All-Aboard Family Literacy Program, the All-Aboard Family Resource Center, the All-Aboard Educational Mobile Unit and the All-Aboard Story Hour.
