| Our Mission: Through prevention, education, care and treatment, research and support, Care Resource strives to end the HIV pandemic. Care Resource is South Florida’s oldest and largest community based HIV/AIDS medical organization with offices in both Miami-Dade and Fort Lauderdale. Currently the agency employs a staff of over 120, has four full time doctors and is serving a patient roster of over 4000. As well as medical care, just a few of the other services the agency provides include Psychosocial, case management, substance abuse counseling, a food bank/homebound food delivery service, and soon dental services. Miami-Dade currently has the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases in the country, with Fort Lauderdale at number two as reported by the Center for Disease Control.
