Since opening the Broward County Central Homeless Assistance Center eight years ago, BPHI has been able to assist more than 12,000 homeless individuals. Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. (BPHI) provides homeless men, women, and children with nutritious meals, clean and safe temporary housing, medical care and dental care, counseling and vocational training. BPHI also operates Inverrary Station, a 62-bed transitional housing facility for homeless individuals 55 and older with special needs. The main Center at 920 NW 7th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale has 200 beds for homeless men, women and families with children.

WISH LIST

New underwear for men, women and children and diapers for infants
Toothbrushes and toothpaste (large tubes)
New or gently used men’s pants (dress slacks and jeans), men dress shirts
New or gently used men, women and children’s shoes
Bars of soap (please - no liquid soap) and deodorant
New or gently used wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels
Ear plugs (sleeping in an open dorm, there is occasional snoring)
Groups (corporate, civic associations) needed to help cook and serve a meal 365 days a year
