| Our Vision: Founded in 1977, AYUDA (Adults Youth who are Under-served Deserve Attention) grew with a self-help philosophy and practice still at work today. Having provided more that 40,000 children and their families a hand-up, we continue to improve communities by positively changing and stabilizing the lives of the children and families we serve. Our Mission: To Help Improve the lives of Children & Families who are Underserved &/or At-Risk in Miami-Dade County through Education, Life-Skills Training & Programs that Support Self-Sufficiency. Our Recipients: Low and moderate income families with young children & youth (often 200% below poverty line); teenage parents; single mothers; at-risk families due to domestic violence, neglect or abuse; welfare dependant mothers; foster mothers; immigrant families; elders.
